We’ve been sadly negligent about posting blogs recently. That’s because we only had six weeks between trips, and we had to fit a whole bunch of stuff into that time period!
It was a crazy busy six weeks.
But now we’re off again!
And this time, it’s the big one. All year long we’ve been building up to this trip. This is, as I’ve said, our 40th anniversary year. Because of that, and to celebrate our lives together, we’ve been traveling to our favorite spots all over the world all year.
But this is the big one.
We’ve been to the Caribbean in March. Italy in May. England, Scotland, and Ireland in August.
Now it’s off to the Mediterranean, for a 25-day cruise that leaves Barcelona, Spain, and traverses easterly towards Greece, turning around and calling back at Barcelona (among many other ports), then the Azores and finally, back home to Ft. Lauderdale.
We’ve never cruised for so long.
Nor have we had a 40th anniversary before.
Join us as we celebrate. Along the way, we hope to visit La Sagrada Familia and Park Guell in Barcelona. We’ll visit Hyeres on the Cote d’Azur in France, and Florence in Italy again. In Greece, we’ll visit ruins (my favorite!) in Olympia, Delos and Akrotiri. We’ll see the lovely port of Kotor in Montenegro for the first time, and enjoy Naples and Rome again for the second time this year. Then we’ll see The Last Supper in Milan, and hit Toulon again, followed by Barcelona (again) and then Ponta Delgado in the lovely Azores. Finally, after six sea days (not nearly enough) we’ll arrive at Ft. Lauderdale and fly home.
We’re excited to share this time with you all, and hope you will enjoy hearing about our travels!
